Potomac Edison to hold workshops this week

Potomac Edison will hold customer workshops and trade-ally seminars at two locations in the area.

The workshops will be Tuesday at the Hampton Inn in Frederick, Md., and Thursday at the Ramada Plaza in Hagerstown.

The customer session will be from 8 a.m. to noon and the ally seminar will be from 1 to 3 p.m.

In the morning session, representatives of Potomac Edison’s Energy Efficiency Incentive Program will show how businesses can access energy-efficiency incentives for renovation and new construction projects.

The seminars are designed for commercial and industrial customers of Potomac Edison, including government, hospitals, schools, manufacturing, retail, nonprofits and small businesses.

The itinerary includes an overview of Potomac Edison’s EmPOWER Maryland Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Incentive Programs, the latest lighting program updates and application assistance. 

At the program ally session, representatives of PE’s Commercial Energy Efficiency Incentive Program will talk about increasing sales by becoming a PE program ally. They will talk about AMPLIFY, a simplified lighting calculator, and co-marketing opportunities to highlight a business and gain clientele.
