Young and old welcome at MIHI Fishin' Frenzy

The City of Hagerstown and MIHI Inc. host the 11th annual Fishin’ Frenzy Saturday, June 15, at Pangborn Park in Hagerstown.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. The fishing contest is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the day for the smallest fish, the largest fish, the largest trout and the largest five-trout catch.

The lake at Pangborn Park will be stocked with several hundred fish courtesy of Albert Powell Fish Hatchery.

Fishin’ Frenzy is open to ages 12 and younger, ages 65 and older and people with disabilities. No fishing license is required, and the event is free.

Participants should bring their own fishing poles and bait.
