Dorsey LeRoy "Tigger" Custer Jr., 38, formerly of Clear Spring, and a resident of NMS Health Center, passed away Friday, June 7, 2013, at the center.

Born Sept. 13, 1974, in Bedford, Pa., he was the son of Sharon L. Myers Custer of Hagerstown and Dorsey LeRoy Custer Sr. of Bedford.

He was a member of Mount Tabor Lutheran Church and had been employed by Good Humor Breyers for five years.

Tigger was an avid wrestling fan, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, riding his bike and go-carts, and playing outdoor sports.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Lena M. Dietrich Myers of Maugansville; paternal grandparents, Dorsey and Gladys Martin Custer; a brother, Thomas James "T.J." Custer, Christina and daughter, Kaydence, of Hagerstown; and several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Enos Wayne "Bunk" Myers; and paternal grandparents, Dorsey and Gladys Martin Custer. .

Services will be Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at 7 p.m. at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring. The Rev. W. Allen Reed will officiate.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 11, 2013, from 6 to 7 p.m., one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. For the convenience of friends, you may visit the funeral home Tuesday after noon.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Thompson Funeral Home Inc., P.O. Box 310, Clear Spring, MD 21722, to assist the family.
