Hole-in-one

Ron Pike, 69, a Hagerstown resident, aced the 140-yard par-3 second hole at Black Rock with a 7-iron. It’s Pike’s second hole-in-one in his 40 years playing golf. Mark Mades and Darren Greaves witnessed the shot.

BRIEF

Soccer goalkeeping clinics

The Hagerstown Soccer Club will host free goalkeeping clinics from 6 to 8 p.m. on the following Wednesday evenings: June 12, 19 and 26, and July 10, 17, 24, and 31. The clinics are led by Tristan Longnecker, the director of coaching for Hagerstown Soccer Club and head varsity boys coach at St. Maria Goretti.
