A girl about 10-years-old suffered arm and a head injuries when she ran in front of a vehicle and was struck in the area of Winter and George streets Monday afternoon, according to a Hagerstown Police Department spokesman.

The driver of the vehicle was traveling at a slow speed and was not at fault, Officer T. Cox said.

The driver of the vehicle became emotional after the accident, but was fine after being checked out at the scene, Cox said.
