BREVARD, N.C. — Teresa Marie Musick of Hagerstown graduated from Brevard College in Brevard, N.C., during its 160th Commencement Ceremony on May 11.

Musick earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

ANNVILLE, Pa. — Lebanon Valley College inducted 92 students into various academic honor societies this spring.

Area inductees include:

  • Emily B. Johansen of Chambersburg, Pa., was inducted into Psi Chi, the psychology department honor society. Johansen is a sophomore psychology major and graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School.
  • Andrew D. Suprock of Mt. Airy, Md., was inducted into Sigma Pi Sigma, the department of physics national honor society. Suprock is a senior physics major and graduate of Seton Home Study School.

ELON, N.C. — The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi announced that Emily Steiner of Boonsboro was recently initiated into the collegiate honor society.
Steiner is pursuing a degree in English at Elon University.

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.Va. — Matthew R. Deal of Hagerstown was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Shepherd University.

He is a graduate of Smithsburg High School.

COLLEGEDALE, Tenn. —  Jordan Chedalavada of Hagerstown graduated from Southern Adventist University in May.

Chedalavada received a Bachelor of Science in character animation.

Chedalavada is the child of Ravi and Martha Chedalavada of Hagerstown.

BOWIE, Md. — Samantha Taylor of Frederick, Md., was inducted into Bowie State University’s chapter of the Phi Alpha National Honor Society.

Taylor is a senior majoring in social work.

READING, Pa. — Jennifer Michelle Bonifant of Mount Airy, Md., receive a Master of Science in occupational therapy from Alvernia University. Bonifant studied at the university’s main campus.
