Jeanette Snyder, 58, of 1065 Beechwood Drive, Hagerstown, Md., passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013, at her home.
Born Sunday, Sept. 26, 1954, in New Brunswick, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. Campbell and the late Bernice (Coon) Campbell.
She graduated from South Hagerstown High School in 1973 and from Hagerstown Community College in 1975.
She was employed at several department stores, including Bon-Ton, Sears and Walmart.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a volunteer at St. Mary Catholic School, especially with St. Mary’s Home School Association.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Harold W. “Skip” Snyder; sons, Jeffrey W. Snyder of Williamsport, Md., and Daniel A. Snyder of Hagerstown; sisters, Maryann Miller of Williamsport and Teresa Neikirk of Elkmont, Ala.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine B. Losardo.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, May 7, 2013, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 17630 Virginia Ave., Hagerstown, with the Rev. Christopher Moore as celebrant.
Family will receive friends at Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.
