Bond for a Boonsboro man was revoked Monday after he pleaded guilty to having consensual sex with an underage girl following a random encounter.

Washington County Circuit Judge Dana Moylan Wright ordered that a pre-sentence report be prepared for Milford Lee Cassaro, 35, of 20862 Keadle Road, who pleaded guilty to a third-degree sex offense in the Nov. 3, 2012, incident in the Hagerstown area. A fourth-degree sex offense charge was dismissed as part of the plea agreement.

While Cassaro was not sentenced Monday, Assistant State’s Attorney Brett Wilson told Wright the state was recommending a 10-year sentence with all but 18 months suspended.

On the day of the incident, the 15-year-old girl’s mother arrived home to find her daughter kissing a man on the porch, Wilson told Wright. The girl later told investigators with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office that she had sexual intercourse with the man, Wilson said.

Cassaro met the girl as he was driving past her house and she called out to him, Wilson told Wright.

The girl told investigators that “she yelled to him that he looked good,” the statement of probable cause said. He parked his truck and she got into the vehicle and then invited him into her house where they had sexual intercourse, the document said.

While they were having sex, the girl told Cassaro her age, the charging document said.

The girl was able to give deputies Cassaro’s middle and last name and they were able to get his photograph from the Maryland Vehicle Administration, Wilson said. She was able to identify him from the photo and he was taken into custody as few days after the incident, the charging document said.

The victim’s mother was present Monday, but did not wish to address the court, Wilson told Wright.

Wright set Cassaro’s sentencing for July 23.
