Museum announces winners of annual raffle

On March 21, during the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts’ annual membership meeting, the museum held its annual raffle drawing, selecting 12 winners from more than 2,400 ticket entries.
The museum raised more than $19,000 through the raffle to support its annual   programs. A special thank you goes to Dale Stein, this year’s chairperson, for coordinating and organizing the raffle. 
Teresa Barr sold the most raffle tickets. 
The museum wants to thank everyone who bought and sold tickets, and the prize sponsors who made this year’s raffle a success.
The raffle winners are:
• The Craver Family of Hagerstown, R. Bruce Carson Jewelers, $5,000 Shopping Spree
• Carin Shives, Hagerstown, private sitting for an oil portrait by Marjorie Tressler of Studio One Fine Arts in Waynesboro, Pa.
• Betty Jane Lee, Mercersburg, Pa., Orlando, Fla., Hilton Grand Vacation Club, seven-night stay
• J. Siegmann Salter, Hagerstown, private studio reception with artists and masters of disguise Jonna and Tony Mendez
• Tanya Burnham, Williamsport, Huckleberry Fine Art, J. Scott Nicol’s “To Kill a Mockingbird”
• Dexter Greene, Harpers Ferry, W.Va, getaway for two at Hotel Wales, New York City, sponsored by Connoisseur Travel

Lions Club to hold Donor Day
Tuesday — The Hagerstown Lions Club will hold Donor Day, its yearly day of recognition of recipients and distribution of funds to charitable groups and organizations that receive grants from the Hagerstown Lions Club Foundation. 

Discovery Station part of museum ramble
Saturday — Discovery Station, in downtown  Hagerstown, will participate in the 10th annual museum ramble, a tour of the area’s museums.
