P. Blair Spigler, 78, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2013, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown.

Born Dec. 24, 1934, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Frederick Herman and Sarah Kieffer Spigler.

He attended Hagerstown High School.

He was employed by various companies in Arizona, Maryland and the District of Columbia as a cement mason until retiring in 1997. He was then employed part time by Napa Auto Parts in Williamsport, Md., and Paul Crampton Contractors.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War.

He was a die-hard Washington Redskins and Baltimore Colts fan.

He was very artistic and very interested in the culture of Native Americans and their music.

He had a tremendous sense of humor.

He was a member of AARP, Potomac American Legion Post 202 in Williamsport, Cement Mason Union in Phoenix, Ariz., and Cement Mason Union in Cumberland, Md.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Lee Feigley Spigler of Hagerstown, whom he married Jan. 31, 1958; daughter, Joni K. Spigler of Oakland, Calif.; twin sister, Barbara Miller Snyder of Hagerstown; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frederick H. Spigler Jr. and Samuel K. Spigler.

There will be no viewing or services. Burial will be private.

He is ultimately loved and eternally missed.
