Administrative professionals event at Hagerstown Community College

Hagerstown Community College’s Continuing Education and Business Services Division, in collaboration with the International Association of Administrative Professionals, will offer a day of appreciation and learning for local administrative professionals.

The annual event will be Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Elliott Center at HCC.

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. followed by a continental breakfast sponsored by IAAP, Hager Chapter.

A series of sessions and workshops will follow. Topics include “Making Yourself Indispensable,” with leadership coach Mary Ellen Waltemire; “Computer Tips and Tricks” with HCC faculty and staff; “Cybersecurity” with HCC cybersecurity instructors; and “Recovering from Major Setbacks” with Waltemire.

The event costs $79, which includes continental breakfast and door prizes.
