North High choir to perform Tuesday

On Tuesday, April 23, at 7 p.m., the North Hagerstown High School Concert Choir, under the direction of Curt Shetler, will perform a concert of sacred and spiritual music in the sanctuary at Haven Lutheran Church, 1035 Haven Road in Hagerstown.

Light refreshments will be provided at a brief reception following the performance.

The concert is free and open to the public.

Spaghetti dinner planned

Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, at 14010 Greencastle Pike in Hagerstown, will hold a spaghetti dinner Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m.

The menu includes spaghetti, salad, bread and beverage. 

Tickets cost $7 for adults and $3 for those ages 7 and younger. Dessert will be available for a donation.

Proceeds benefit the church’s community ministry center debt reduction.

Sports card show

The Maugansville Sports Card Show will be held Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Maugansville Ruritan Club, 18007 Maugans Ave. 

There will be 35 vendor tables, door prizes and free admission.

Line dance planned

The Hagerstown Country Western Dance Association will hold line dancing for singles and couples at the former Quincy School gym at 7888 Anthony Highway in Waynesboro, Pa.,

The dance will be Saturday, April 27, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. 

It is open to the public.

The dance costs $7 for nonmembers and $5 for members.
