CRESAPTOWN, Md. — Bryce Nigh had three hits and 14 strikeouts to lead undefeated Heritage Academy in a Mason Dixon Christian Conference rout of Calvary Christian on Tuesday.

Bubba Kriner had three hits, including a triple, and David Fisler and Ethan Nield had three hits each for the Eagles (6-0, 6-0), who rapped out 17 hits.

Zach Nelson had two hits, including a double, for Calvary.

MIDDLETOWN, Md. — Josh Miller had two hits, an RBI and six strikeouts for Smithsburg in a loss to Middletown.

Smithsburg trailed 6-0 after five innings but rallied with six runs in the sixth to tie the game, but Middletown plated the winning run in the bottom of frame.

Joey Schwartz had a two-run double, Bryan Tracey had a two-run single and Kyle Dinterman had an RBI double for the Leopards.

CHARLES TOWN, W.Va. — Washington scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning and made it hold up in a win over Jefferson.

Jared Silva went the distance for the Patriots, giving up just one earned run while walking three and striking out five.

Silva also drove in a run and Seth Campbell stroked a two-run double for Washington.

Andrew King went 3-for-3 for Jefferson.

IJAMSVILLE, Md. — Oakdale scored two runs in each of the last three innings to rally past Boonsboro.

Leah Cadigan, Tristan Hartle and Sky Casto each went 3-for-4 for the Warriors (0-9). Hannah Thompson took the loss despite allowing no earned runs. Boonsboro committed eight errors in the game.

ST. JAMES — Jake Thompson scored four goals to lead Saint James past Maret School in the Mid-Atlantic Conference.
