Products and services: Our shop offers unique gifts, finds and furnishings. We carry middle- to high-end furniture, glassware, antiques and collectables, including Henkel Harris, Broyhill, Hitchcock, Fenton, Waterford and Fostoria, McCoy. We also offer consignment as an option to accommodate the families who are downsizing, as well as those who might be going into retirement homes.

Target market: Those who are looking for exceptional items, as well as great deals

How did you get into your business, and what motivated you to start it? Eighteen months before retiring, Fritts and Phelps went to auctions and estate sales, looking for distinctive items that they could resell, passing the savings on to their customers.

Previous business experience: Fritts has been in the furniture business for more than 40 years and Phelps worked at National Institutes of Health for more than 20 years in telecommunications and customer service

Hours: Wednesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The business is closed from January through March.
