Washington County Rural Heritage Museum is a gem

I wish to congratulate the Washington County Rural Heritage Museum. I had the pleasure of attending the annual spring open house this past weekend and I left very impressed.

If you have not taken the time, I strongly encourage you to see this one-of-a kind display. The displays of the Hagerstown-built Dagmar Pope Tribune automobiles, Astor Taxi cab and Model T’s were very well done. I was surprised to even see the Crawford bicycles and the Dahlgreen carriages. My favorite exhibit was the model of an actual mechanics garage from the 1920s.

The Washington County Antique tractor club and various antique car clubs have really outdone themselves and I am certain that visitors to Washington County will leave as impressed as I was. Well done!
