WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Waynesboro Hospital was ranked among the top 10 percent of the nation’s hospitals for providing outstanding patient safety, according to a report released April 9 at www.healthgrades.com.

Waynesboro Hospital was one of 379 hospitals in the country recognized in the report.

Patient safety data for 4,729 U.S. hospitals was analyzed, according to the report. Researchers used Medicare inpatient data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.

Waynesboro Hospital earned recognition for patient safety and quality from the Pennsylvania Department of Health, The Joint Commission and VHA within the last year.
