Edna Mae "Sue" Myers, 67, of Murrells Inlet, S.C., died Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at Tidelands Hospice House in Georgetown, S.C. 

Sue was born May 12, 1945, in Riverdale, Md., the daughter of the late Raymond S. and Frances Turgeon Harbin. 

She was retired from Bell Atlantic/Verizon after 28 years of service. She moved from Hagerstown, Md., to Murrells Inlet nine years ago, where she became active in the Blackmoor Homeowners Association, the Blackmoor Yard of the Month Committee, and the Blackmoor Golf Club and Ladies League Committee. She was an active member of Belin United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Thomas K. Myers; a daughter, Suzanne Ashley and husband, Will, of Roanoke, Va.; two brothers, R. Joseph Harbin and wife, Julie, of Murrells Inlet, and M. Randy Harbin and wife, Barbara, of Pasadena, Md.; three grandchildren, Mark Alan Stoner Jr., CeCe Ashley and Liam Ashley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Belin United Methodist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Mike Alexander. At Sue's request, A Celebration of Life will be held at Inlet Affairs following the memorial service.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
