The Rev. Dr. Rose Ann (Robinson) Duckett, 75, of Washington, D.C., went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 7, 2013.

Born Aug. 3, 1937, in Inwood, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Douglas and Grace (Mash) Robinson.

She was an alumni of the Cortez Pavlovs Business College of Washington, D.C., and was a graduate of Ramer Memorial High School in Martinsburg.

She then retired from the D.C. School System and was the pastor of the Second Christian Church in Hagerstown for over 21 years.

She was a past worthy matron of the O.E.S. Chapter No. 196 of Winchester, Va.; and a member of the NAACP, Washington Urban League, Upper N.E. Group Ministry; D.C. Women United; and the American Coalition of Citizens with Disabilities.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Marshall of Colorado Springs, Colo.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; four brothers, James Robinson of Hagerstown, Russell Robinson of Winchester, Melvin and Julius Robinson, both of Martinsburg; and three sisters, Isabelle Jackson of Fayetteville, N.C., Mary Brown of Clearbrook, Va., and Mildred Carter of Dalzell, S.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Duckett; brother, George Robinson; and granddaughter Ebony Jackson Ross.

Funeral services will the held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at Brown Funeral Home South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood. Interment will be in Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

Family will receive friends on Friday, April 12, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
