1. A 'Memory' being made

Williamsport High School Choral Department will present Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical "Cats." 7:30 p.m. Fridays, April 12 and 19; 2 and 7:30 p.m. Saturdays, April 13 and 20; 2 p.m. Sunday, April 14. Williamsport High School auditorium, 5 S. Clifton Drive, Williamsport. $10; $7 for students and senior citizens. To purchase tickets, call 301-766-8433. 2. Lost in the '50s Saturday

'50s-style sock hop and dance will be from 6 to 11 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at Hagerstown Community College's Athletic, Recreation and Community Center, off Robinwood Drive, east of Hagerstown. Free dance lessons, 6:30 to 7 p.m. Swing bands Rick K and the Allnighters and The Holders will perform. Attendees are encouraged to dress in 1950s attire. $25 per person. 3. Dig it

Washington County Master Gardeners will discuss ways to grow edible plants just about anywhere with no bending or weeding. Root vegetable-themed children's learning activities. 4. It's a real birthday bash
