Hawks split with Dundalk

COLLEGE BASEBALL

Hagerstown Community College split a doubleheader with Dundalk on Saturday, winning the second game 3-2 after dropping the opener 2-1 in eight innings.

In the victory for the Hawks (21-17), Eric Schanzenbacher had RBIs, Dylan Dunn had two hits and an RBI, Trey Kirby pitched 6 1/3 inning for the victory, allowing two runs and five hits, and reliever Dylan Eyler got the last two outs for his fifth saves.

In the loss for HCC, Garrett Sprankle had two hits and Kevin Bair pitched all eight innings, allowing two runs and six hits.
