Couple honored for running Boonsboro Pharmacy

BOONSBORO — Gary and Sally Haas were honored Monday night during a Boonsboro Town Council meeting for their years of running the Boonsboro Pharmacy.

The couple started the pharmacy in 1976 and it was on Main Street for four years before it was moved to a location on U.S. 40.

Mayor Charles F. “Skip” Kauffman Jr. read a proclamation.

Gary Haas said he once lived in the Midwest and moving to the small community of Boonsboro was a “perfect fit.”
