Floyd Calvin Tressler, 89, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Julia Manor Nursing Home in Hagerstown.

Born Dec. 21, 1923, in State Line, Pa., he was the son of the late Daniel Raymond and Pearl Elizabeth Grumbine Tressler.

He was employed by Moller Pipe Organ in Hagerstown for 46 years until retiring in 1988.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force, serving in World War II.

He was of the Lutheran faith.

He was a life member of the Williamsport Volunteer Fire Co. and life member of Western Enterprise Fire Co.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae C. Anderson Tressler of Hagerstown, married for 65 years; daughter, Linda D. Tressler of Hagerstown; son, Michael D. Tressler of Hagerstown; son, Daniel I. Tressler of Hagerstown; son, James A. Tressler of Chambersburg, Pa.; son, Clyde C. Tressler of Hagerstown; son, George R. Tressler of Hagerstown; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons, William E. Tressler and John J. Tressler; and two sisters, Eva Hawbaker and Mary Spitzer.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 4, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md. The funeral home will be open Thursday after 9 a.m. for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, with the Rev. W. Gregory Martin officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport. Military graveside services will be conducted by AMVETS Post 10 and Marine Corps League of Hagerstown.
