Clear Spring artist Cindy Down has five of her watercolors on display at Hempen Hill BBQ in Hagerstown. The paintings will be on display through the month of April.

The restaurant is in Fountainhead Plaza in Hagerstown.

The Clear Spring Library will present “Custer’s Last Stand: What Really Happened” on Thursday, April 11, at 6 p.m. 

Historian and author Warren Gray will shares what really happened at Little Bighorn. Registration is required. To register, call 301-842-2730.

Banquet planned

The Last Man’s Club of Korean War Veterans membership banquet will be held Saturday, April 27, at Morris Frock Post 42 American Legion on Northern Avenue in Hagerstown. 

There will be a cash bar from noon to 1 p.m. and dinner will be served at 1 p.m. 

The guest speaker will be Les Bishop, commander of Antietam Chapter 312 of the Korean War Veterans Association.
