Body found off W. Antietam St. in Hagerstown

no foul play suspected

April 01, 2013

Hagerstown police said they believe a medical condition caused the death of a man whose body was found Sunday behind the former R.D. McKee building at 339 W. Antietam St.

Lt. Tom Langston said the body was taken to the state medical examiner’s office in Baltimore for an autopsy, but an initial investigation showed nothing suspicious.

“I don’t know if he was homeless, but he was (found) in a homeless camp,” Langston said.

Officers were called to the scene at 10:03 a.m. Sunday.

Langston said the man’s name would not be released until police notify his family.
