Freedom Valley Chorus will host fundraising tea event

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — The Freedom Valley Chorus of Sweet Adelines International will serve its second annual fundraising tea, “A Spoonful of Musical-i-TEA,” on Saturday, June, 8, at noon at St. Paul United Methodist Church at 750 Norland Ave. in Chambersburg.

Guests will be treated to a full four-course afternoon tea served on antique china and sweet harmonies provided by the a capella chorus. There also will be a variety of baskets available by Chinese auction to add to the fundraising effort, according to a news release.

A portion of the proceeds from this event will go directly to WIN — Women in Need of Franklin and Fulton County, according to the release.

Tickets for the event are $25 and will be available May 1. Only 125 tickets will be sold.

Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available at the door.
