Ivy Ella Warner, 85, of Brinker Drive, Hagerstown, Md., died on Monday, March 25, 2013, at Ravenwood Nursing Home.

Born June 5, 1927, in Williamsport, Md., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Esther Stenger Myers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Warner Jr., on Aug. 3, 1969.

She was a 1945 graduate of Williamsport High School, and received an AA degree in nursing from Hagerstown Community College in 1972.

She was employed as a nurse at the Washington County Hospital.

She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the senior choir, the Altar Guild, Parish Nursing, and Visiting Angels.

She was a member of the Women’s Club, and Morris Frock American Legion, Post 42 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by one daughter, Susan V. Stottlemyer of Myersville, Md.; two sons, Richard L. Young of Hagerstown, and C. David Warner III of Maugansville, Md.; two sisters, Harriette Bowers and F. Dorine Wood, both of Hagerstown; two brothers, Thomas O. Myers and W. Jack Myers, both of Hagerstown;

seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 15 Randolph Ave., Hagerstown. The Rev. Dr. David G. Oravec and Rev. Robert Snyder will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 29, 2013, from 6 to 8 p. m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.
