Norman T. Geary, 44, of Jefferson, Md., passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Citizens Care and Rehabilitation Center, Frederick, Md.

Born Jan. 29, 1969, in Frederick, he was the son of Thomas Geary and the late Nancy Hood Geary.

He was an avid drag racing enthusiast, and a former crew chief of the “Black Stallion” monster truck. He was a member of Woodsboro American Legion. Norman thoroughly enjoyed driving trucks for DOT Transportation in Williamsport, Md., and was well respected and liked by his many co-workers.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his stepmother, Carolyn Geary; sister, Norma Jean Gossart and husband, Mark, of Middletown, Md.; brothers, Thomas (Mike) Geary and wife, Susan, of Knoxville, Md., and Robin Geary of Middletown; stepbrother, Kenneth Nicholls; and stepsister, Charlene Bishop; nephew, Christopher Geary; niece, Erin Gossart; aunt and uncle, Dale and Diane Geary; and cousins, Kristi Rogers and Eric Geary.
