2. Strength of Strings with friends

Strength of Strings will be from 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at Funkstown American Legion ballroom, 12 N. Westside Ave., Funkstown. $5 minimum donation. A benefit for Jeff Fignar will include live music, special acts, silent auction and more. All proceeds will go toward a trust fund for Jeff's son, Drake. Entertainment includes Strength of Strings Family Jam, Speakeasy Boys, pictured; Brokedown Hustlers, Boomtown Hoops and Sticky Longfingers and the Rusted Butter.



3. Evening of cool jazz
