1. Find the eggs!

Spring children's egg hunt will be 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at Yankauer Nature Preserve, W.Va. 54, Whiting's Neck Road, north of Shepherdstown, W.Va. Eggs, colored to resemble real eggs of wild birds, will be hidden for children to find. Exchange eggs for Easter goodies. For ages 3 to 6. 2 to 3:30 p.m. $5. 2. Behind the lens

Photographer Jim Kern will share stories and photographs at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, City Park, Hagerstown. $5; free for museum members and those 11 and younger. Tickets will be available at the door or by calling 301-739-5727.



3. Mad about art

March Art Madness will be Saturday, March 23, at Full Circle Theater, 113 S. Princess St., Shepherdstown, W.Va.  A fundraising event including musical and dramatic arts, an open-mic session, exhibit of local art and silent auction. 6 p.m., doors open; performances begin at 7 p.m. $10 at the door. 4. Weather watch

5. Hunting in the dark

Flashlight Easter egg hunt will be 7 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at Welty Church of the Brethren, 13465 Greensburg Road, Smithsburg. Activities for all ages. Bring a flashlight for inside and outside activities. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Call 301-824-3941.
