Mr. Clark A. Clipp, 50, of 1419 Howell Road, Hagerstown, Md., passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013, in the University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, Md.

Born April 13, 1962, in Hagerstown, he was the son of Shealy W. Clipp Sr. of Hagerstown and the late Christine (Fraley) Clipp.

He and his wife of 17 years, Mrs. Susie (Smith) Clipp, were married Feb. 14, 1996, in Smithsburg, Md.

Clark was employed as a security officer for Securitas for several years.

He was a member of Welty Church of the Brethren, Smithsburg.

Clark was an avid animal lover and car and truck enthusiast.

In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by one brother, Keith Clipp of Sharpsburg, Md.; one sister, Dawn Pryor of Keedysville, Md.; and a nephew, Mark Clipp Jr. of Hagerstown.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Shealy Clipp Jr. and his twin, Mark Clipp.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2013, in Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, with Pastor Michael Manthos officiating. Burial will follow in Quincy Cemetery, Quincy, Pa.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Monday morning in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Antietam Humane Society, 8513 Lyons Road, Waynesboro PA 17268.
