Joseph "Ray" Fisher, 77, passed away Monday, March 18, 2013, at his home.

Born Feb. 3, 1936 in Henniker, N.H., Ray was the son of the late J. Daniel Fisher and M. Alice (Damour) of Henniker, and later lived in West Melbourne, Fla.

He later married his second wife, Jean (Wells Parker-Fisher) in Frederick, Md., with whom he had 18 wonderful, loving years together. They had graduated from Melbourne High School together.

He especially loved being in two plays that Pfizer presented in New London, Conn., and loved traveling, gardening, singing in the church's choir and playing his piano.

He was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church in Inwood, W.Va., and a former member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Ray is survived by his wife, Jean, of Martinsburg; son, Daniel Fisher of Irving, Texas; two grandchildren, Brandon and Bailey Fisher of Texas; a brother, Richard Fisher of Henniker; Parker stepchildren, John and Wally, Douglas and wife, Nikki, of Maryland, Jim of Virginia, and Laura Golden and husband, Ed, of Maryland; 13 stepgrandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; and his closest cousin, Charles and his wife, Dotty, Young, of Bedford.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, March 22, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church, Inwood, with the Rev. Brian Shoda as celebrant. Interment will be at St. Leo Catholic Church cemetery after the church service.
