Student category added to Maryland International Film Festival

The Maryland International Film Festival, Hagerstown, announces a call for entries for the 2013 high school contest.

The festival is scheduled to run in downtown Hagerstown Thursday, April 11, through Saturday, April 13, and is expected to screen 25 films from around the globe.

On Friday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to noon, the high schools participating in the contest will be able to see their films on the big screen at the Bridge of Life and the winner will be announced. The winners will receive a trophy and free movie passes to Leitersburg Cinemas.
