Two Rivers Chamber Orchestra's final concert of season will be at 8 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Frank Arts Center, Shepherd University, Shepherdstown, W.Va. Simeone Tartaglione, pictured, will be guest conductor. Concert features Mendelssohn's Italian Symphony, Rossini's "The Italian Girl in Algiers" and contemporary music. $27. 2. Art and authors

Waynesboro Historical Society will host a book signing and art show from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at Oller House, 138 W. Main St., Waynesboro, Pa. Guest authors and artists include Mary Alice Baumgardner, Marie Lanser Beck and Maxine Beck, pictured; Becky Dietrich, Ruth Gembe, Terry McClellan with works by John McClellan, Robert Morrow, Sally Sawyer, and Candice Whitsel who will display prints by her late husband, Landis Brent Whitsel. 3. Sunday afternoon jazz

4. Students of music

Maryland All-State Junior Chorus and Orchestra will be Sunday, March 10, at South Hagerstown High School, 1101 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown. Students in grades seven through nine from all over Maryland will convene to participate in the Maryland All-State Junior Chorus and Orchestra. 1 p.m. orchestra concert; 4 p.m. choral concert. Tickets cost $10 and will be available at the door.


5. 'Singing in the Reign'

The Hagerstown Choral Arts will present "Singing in the Reign," a concert of sacred music at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 10, at Hagerstown Church of the Brethren, 15 S. Mulberry St., Hagerstown. Freewill offering. Call 301-733-3565.
