Donald Ray Angle, 70, of Mercersburg Road, Clear Spring, Md., passed away Monday, Feb. 25, 2013, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Md.

Born Oct. 7, 1942, in Clear Spring, he was the son of Viola Mary Cunningham Angle of Clear Spring and the late Emory Bowers Angle.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Marie Angle, in 1982.

Donnie was a graduate of Clear Spring High School class of 1960 and retired from the State of Maryland.

He was a life member of Kasiesville Bible Church of Mercersburg, Pa.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Tracy Toston and husband, Frank, of Hagerstown; a son, Allan Angle of Omaha, Neb.; two sisters, Connie Hummer of Waynesboro, Pa., and Kathy Fink of Clear Spring; two brothers, Wayne Angle of Mercersburg and Tex Angle of Clear Spring; and three grandchildren, Jan Baker, Erin Angle and Taylor Angle.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Glenn Angle and Kenneth Angle.

Services will be Friday, March 1, 2013, at 10 a.m. at Kasiesville Bible Church in Mercersburg. Pastor Ben Fisler will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Clear Spring.

The family will receive friends at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home Inc., 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. For the convenience of friends, you may visit the funeral home after noon.
