Man charged with punching women, children

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. — A McConnellsburg man has been charged with punching a woman and two children Friday at the intersection of Pa. 30 and Lincoln Way West in Fulton County, Pennsylvania State Police said.

Justin Allen Garlock, 23, was charged with one count each of harassment and simple assault, according to a state police news release.

Troopers allege Garlock punched a 30-year-old woman and two 13-year-old boys at 9:40 p.m. Friday.
Garlock’s bond was set at $50,000, according to the release.

Hustontown man charged with sexually assaulting juvenile female

McCONNELLSBURG, Pa. — A Hustontown, Pa., man was charged last week with sexually assaulting a juvenile female at a residence in Fulton. Co., Pennsylvania State Police said.

Dennis Thomas, 42, was charged on Feb. 19 with one count each of attempted rape, attempted sexual assault, attempted involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, indecent assault and indecent exposure, according to a state police news release.

Troopers said the girl was assaulted at a home in Fulton County, Pa.

Copper pipe stolen from house in Franklin County

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — All the copper pipe was stolen from a house in the 300 block of Falling Spring Road over the weekend, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The Guilford Township theft occurred between 2 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday, state police said.

Precious-metal theft has been a problem throughout the Tri-State area, and various types of metal items have been targeted.

Vehicle with keys in ignition reported stolen

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — A vehicle was stolen in the 11000 block of South Mountain Road on Thursday, according to Pennsylvania State Police.

The keys were in the vehicle’s ignition when it was stolen in Quincy Township, state police said.

Anyone with information about the theft may call state police at 717-264-5161. Any information will be kept confidential, police said.



Bike found in Quincy Township

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — A red Pacific Sabotage 10-speed bicycle was found in the 9700 block of Anthony Highway, Pennsylvania State Police said Saturday.

Anyone with information about the bike, which was found in Quincy Township, Pa., may call state police at 717-264-5161.
