Fahrney-Keedy associates honored

BOONSBORO — Thirty-seven associates recently received honors for service excellence and for years worked during the annual associate recognition dinner for Fahrney-Keedy Home & Village at Beaver Creek Country Club in Hagerstown.

Associates nominated their co-workers for the service excellence awards, which went to five individuals and, for the first time, a team of workers. Those honored for service excellence were Beth Hutzell, dietitian; Martha Wolfe, human resources; Ginger Lowery, environmental services; Tina Saunders, LPN, nursing; and Paula Webb, assisted living. Those honored as a team were the Restorative Team of Deb Manahan, RN; Mary Moore; and Andrew Kessell, GNA.

Length-of-service awards were given to associates having worked for multiples of five years.

Marking five years were Glen Sargent, administrative; Lisa Kline, assisted living; Brenda Unger, environmental services; Bethany Adamo, activities; Robin Elkins, LPN, Sandy Fowler, GNA, Brandy Hargett, GNA, Mandy Hargett, CMA, Eunice Johnson, LPN, Brianna Reid, GNA, Amy Smallwood, Melissa Ward, LPN, and Tina Wolfe, LPN, nursing; and Cassandra Weaver, executive team.

Marking 10 years were Preston Thurston and Debbie Slifer, accounting; JoEllen Harris and Kathy Stagner, LPN, assisted living; Cindi Delauney, LPN, Kristi Delucia, GNA, Carol Hood, LPN, Bambi Jackson, Barb Keller and Sue Shahan, LPN, nursing.

At 15 years: Kelly Stone, CMA, and Brandy Troccola, GNA, nursing.

At 25 years, Pam Long, assisted living.

At 30 years, Dan Bowman, maintenance.

At 35 years, Pat Davis, GNA, nursing.

A continuing-care retirement community, Fahrney-Keedy is along Md. 66 a few miles west of Boonsboro.
