Pamela Jean Barnard, 55, of Sapphire Drive, Hedgesville, W.Va., passed away Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013, at City Hospital in Martinsburg, W.Va.

She was born June 3, 1957, in Riverside, Calif.

She was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

She was employed by St. Lawrence Cement of Hagerstown for 13 years, and Miller Apple Valley Auto Dealership of Martinsburg for three years.

She is survived by her husband, Robert N. "Tug" Barnard; daughters, Amber D. Allen and husband, Rob, of Waynesboro, Pa., and April D. Biesecker of Maugansville, Md.; sons, Gary George of Omaha, Neb., Charles "Chuck" George of Seattle, Wash., and Robbie N. Barnard Jr., and wife, Angie, of Greencastle, Pa.; grandchildren, Payton Allen, Emma Allen, Sophie Biesecker, Cyrus Biesecker, Landon Barnard and Aiden Barnard; brother, Billy, of California; and canine companions, Mandy Jr. and Grindle.

Services will be held Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at noon, at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, Md., with Pastor Julie Brigham officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Association, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
