artFEST

Regional artists create art while the public observes and interacts. The artists will work in a variety of mediums on 20-inch-by-24-inch canvases throughout the day. 9 a.m. Live auction at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Historic Preservation Services, 252 E. River Rat Day

Will the River Rat see his shadow? Williamsport hosts its first-ever rodent-prognostication event. Downtown merchants will have rat- and cheese-themed specials. 10 a.m. Saturday, ceremony at flagpole on Doubleday Hill, West Salisbury Street, Williamsport. Free. Official River Rat T-shirts cost $10 and are available at Town Hall from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.


Ballet

Chambersburg Ballet Theatre will present excerpts from its production “Swan Lake Fantasy,” plus the jazz ballet “Stratus” during IceFest. 11 a.m., 1, 3 and 5 p.m. Saturday. The Capitol Theatre, 159 S. Main St., Chambersburg, Pa. Tickets cost $5, at the door. Call 717-709-1800.


Banjo and other period instruments

Cory Rosenberg of Gettysburg, Pa., will play the banjo and other period instruments as he sings minstrel songs of the Civil War era. 11 a.m. Saturday. Classical guitarist and clarinetist

Classical guitarist Candice Mowbray and clarinetist Michael Hoover make up Duo Claritare. Fashion show

The show will feature student models displaying local stores’ clothing styles including casual, career, sportswear and formal wear. Music provided by local artists. 2013 All County Band and Jazz Ensemble concert

The concert will feature all-county middle and high school bands and the jazz ensemble. Scott Hippensteel will conduct the all-county high school band, David Zerull will conduct the all-county middle school band and Graham Breedlove will conduct the all-county high school jazz ensemble. 7 p.m. Saturday. Chris MacDonald’s Memories of Elvis in Concert
