Hagerstown police said they have charged a man with robbing a bar Tuesday night on South Potomac Street.

Parsram Kevin Sukhram, 18, of no fixed address, was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery and theft, according to a Hagerstown Police Department news release.

Police allege Sukhram was charged in a warrant and arrested Friday after an investigation determined he was one of two men who robbed Side Pockets Bar at 807 S. Potomac St.

A uniformed officer saw two suspicious-looking males enter Side Pockets at about 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, the release said. As the officer was turning his car to investigate, he saw both men exit the bar and run north on South Potomac Street.

Police said the officer was unable to catch the men after a brief pursuit.

Officers later learned the bar had been robbed.
