1.  'Surrender' to Elvis

Chris MacDonald's Memories of Elvis in Concert will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at The Maryland Theatre, 21 S. Potomac St., downtown Hagerstown. A performance complete with costumes, concert band and special guest star D.J. Fontana, Elvis' original drummer. Tickets cost $25 to $35. Call 301-790-2000 or go to www.mdtheatre.org.



2. In celebration of being a rat

River Rat Day will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, in Williamsport. Will the River Rat see his shadow? Williamsport hosts its first-ever rodent-prognostication event. Downtown merchants will have rat- and cheese-themed specials. 10 a.m. ceremony at flagpole on Doubleday Hill, West Salisbury Street, Williamsport. Free. Official River Rat T-shirts cost $10 and are available at Town Hall from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.



3. County's best musicans

2013 All County Band and Jazz Ensemble concert will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at North Hagerstown High School, Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown. The concert will feature all-county middle and high school bands and the jazz ensemble. Scott Hippensteel will conduct the all-county high school band, David Zerull will conduct the all-county middle school band and Graham Breedlove will conduct the all-county high school jazz ensemble.$4 in advance; $5 at the door. Senior Gold Cards and board of education IDs will be honored.



4. 'Swan' and 'Stratus'

Chambersburg Ballet Theatre will present excerpts from its production "Swan Lake Fantasy," plus the jazz ballet "Stratus" during IceFest. Shows are 11 a.m., 1, 3 and 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at The Capitol Theatre, 159 S. Main St., Chambersburg, Pa. Tickets cost $5, at the door. Call 717-709-1800. Part of IceFest.



5. On the catwalk

Fashion show will be at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at  Hagerstown Community College's Kepler Theater, Robinwood Drive, east of Hagerstown. The show will feature student models displaying local stores' clothing styles including casual, career, sportswear and formal wear. Music provided by local artists.
