Lillian I. Pryor, 91, of North Main Street, Smithsburg, Md., passed away Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown.

Born July 29, 1921, in Edgemont, Md., she was the daughter of the late Herman Eugene and Nellie Mae (Martin) Miller.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll S. Pryor, on Feb. 14, 1972.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church of Smithsburg, Ladies Auxiliary of the Smithsburg Volunteer Fire Co., Sunshine Leisure Club of Smithsburg, and Leitersburg Senior Citizens.

She was a avid bingo player.

She is survived by daughters, Janet R. Sweeney and Patricia A. Miley and husband, Dave, all of Newport, Tenn.; Linda M. Thomas and husband, Don, of Clear Spring, Md., and Lois J. Pryor and companion, Jeff Shaffer, of Smithsburg; sons, S. Eugene Pryor and wife, Rose, of Smithsburg, James R. Pryor and friend, Lee, of Clear Spring, and Donald L. Pryor and wife, Jo, of Greensburg, Md.; half sisters, Kathleen Dewease of Smithsburg and M. Rosalie Forrest of Waynesboro, Pa.; 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Nancy Pryor and Vicky Pryor; one grandson, Steven Pryor; one granddaughter, Sue Foltz; one great-granddaughter, Alyssa Pryor; sisters, Pauline Lowe and Gladys Bigelow; brother, H. Fred Miller; half brother, Richard Miller; and son-in- law, Robert Sweeney.

Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Greensburg, with Pastor Julie Brigham officiating. Burial will be in Ringgold Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg.
