Waffle breakfast

Boonsboro Bible Church will host a waffle breakfast Saturday from 7 to 11 a.m.

Waffles, eggs and sausage will be served in the fellowship hall. 

There is no set cost; however, donations will be accepted.
The church is at 6741 Old National Pike in Boonsboro.

LL rules clinic offered

Maryland District 1 Little League will conduct a free rules clinic for umpires, managers and league officers on Tuesday nights starting Feb. 5 and running through March 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Church of Christ, 19644 Leitersburg Pike in Hagerstown.

New rules/rule changes for baseball and softball regarding, but not limited to, illegal bat penalties, pitch count changes and new softball bat regulations will be covered, as well as the basic rules of the game.

The Boonsboro branch of Washington County Free Library will offer the following programs:

On Friday, those 11 and older are invited to hang out and choose their own activity: video games, crafts, etc. 

On Monday, Jan. 28, the Young Readers Book Club will meet at 5 p.m. to discuss “No Passengers Beyond This Point,’ by Gennifer Choldenko.
