Daily steps for reducing stress program offered at City Hospital

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. — Daily Steps to Less Stress is a six-week lifestyle improvement program that helps participants recognize stress and its origins and provides tools and techniques to combat daily stress.

They will understand how to incorporate stress management techniques into daily life. This classroom-based, group program is led by a Highmark-trained behavioral health specialist.

The program offers a variety of information, from how stress affects physical health and emotions to how one interacts with the world and others around them.

Daily Steps to Less Stress will be offered from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursdays, Jan. 31 to March 7, in the McCormack Center on the campus of City Hospital or from 6 to 7 p.m. Mondays, March 18 to April 29, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. The cost for non-Highmark plan members is $60.
