Mount Vernon Reformed United Church of Christ, Keedysville, will hold a dogs and cats blessing during all January services. Doors open at 10:15 a.m. and the service begins at 10:45 a.m. Pets should be on a leash or in a pet carrier and be under control. The church is pet friendly.

Parkhead United Methodist Church, Big Pool, the senior church choir of Ebenezer AME Church, Hagerstown, will present “The Dream Endures” a tribute to the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. Sunday, program at 5 p.m.; dinner at 6 p.m.
