1. Another drink?

Apollo Civic Theatre opens "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" Friday, Jan. 18, at the theater, 128 E. Martin St., Martinsburg, W.Va. This Edward Albee's 2005 revised edition of his Tony Award-winning play. Rated R due to adult dialogue, vulgar language and content. Shows are 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays; 2:30 p.m. Sundays. 2.  'Cool School'

The Shepherd University Jazz Faculty Ensemble will present a Tribute to the Cool School at 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at W. H. SHipley Recital Hall, Shepherd University, Shepherdstown, W.Va.  The faculty ensemble will present music made popular by musicians of the Cool Jazz Movement in the 1950s. 3. Civil War education

Making Sense of the American Civil War will be at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at Boonsboro Branch Library, 401 Potomac St., Boonsboro. A discussion series exploring literary works about the American Civil War. Meet the leaders and learn about the series at an introductory reception. 7 p.m. Advance registration is requested. 4. Dance, dance

Ballroom dance classes  will be Tuesdays and Wednesdays, at Allison-Antrim Museum's German bank barn, 365 S. Ridge Ave., Greencastle, Pa. Cha cha and rumba rhythms will be taught in both advanced classes and beginner classes. Advanced lessons 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Tuesdays; beginner lessons 7 to 8 and 8 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays. $10 per person for any class. Proceeds will support the barn. Call 717-597-9325.

5. A night of laughter
