Cecelia Ann Cooper, 70, of Hagerstown, Md., and formerly of Williamsport, Md., passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown.

Born July 5, 1942, in Sharpsburg, Md., she was the daughter of the late Charles Watson Cavender Sr. and Velma Eloise Grim Cavender of Williamsport.

She was a 1960 graduate of North Hagerstown High School.

She was employed by Cosmic Pet in Hagerstown until her retirement in 2008.

She was devoted to her grandchildren and great-grandson. She was a loving mother and devoted wife.

She is survived by her husband, James L. Cooper Sr., married for 50 years, of Hagerstown; son, Jim Cooper and his wife, Angie, of Cascade, Md.; son, Jeff Cooper and his wife, Molly, of Hagerstown; daughter, Brenda Dattilio and her husband, Nick, of Halfway, Md.; son, Steve Cavender of Williamsport; grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda, Dalton, Hannah and Christian; great-grandson, Cayden; sister, Karen Giggeous of Clear Spring, Md.; and brother, Charles "Junie" Cavender of Williamsport.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Cavender.

Funeral services will be Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, with the Rev. R. Terry Foor officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.

The family will receive friends Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport. The funeral home will be open Sunday after 1 p.m. for the convenience of family and friends.
