Born Oct. 10, 1952, in Washington County, Md., she was the daughter of the late Jesse J.R. and Genevieve Gess Hurd. She is also preceded in death by one brother, Lesley Hurd.

Belinda was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses for 38 years. She enjoyed talking to people about her God, Jehovah, even when she wasn't feeling well.

She enjoyed gardening, especially planting flowers. She was fond of swimming and the beach. She loved playing with her grandchildren and riding in the truck with her husband, Braden. She especially treasured times in the house to house work with her mother and sister, Kitty, also as well as many friends too numerous to mention, over the years. When the children were young, they were with both parents many, many times in the house to house work. Belinda will live on in all of our hearts. Belinda cherished many moments in sacred services with our daughter, Beth and granddaughter, Madison.
