Mary Agnes Yosuico, 81, of Hagerstown, Md., died Monday, Jan. 7 2013.

Born Sept. 26, 1931, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Sabatino and Antonia Castellani Carpegna.

Mary was a graduate of Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Baltimore.

She was employed by Washington County Hospital as a registered nurse in the Obstetrics Department and then with Coffman Nursing Home, retiring in 1996.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of America Court 273.

Mary was an active volunteer her entire life. She taught CCD classes at St. Mary's Catholic Church, was a playground monitor at St. Mary Catholic School, a volunteer for the Girl Scouts and was a volunteer parent at Northwood Swim Club. She also volunteered at Community Free Clinic.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Patricia Yosuico of Nashville, Tenn., and Theresa Anne Stahl and husband, Jim, of LaVale, Md.; a sister, Frances V. Carpegna; and two grandchildren, Sarah and Benjamin Stahl.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11:30 a.m at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 224 W. Washington St., Hagerstown. The Rev. Collin Poston will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary Catholic School, 218 W. Washington St., Hagerstown, MD 21740; Community Free Clinic, 249 Mill St., Hagerstown, MD 21740; or a charity of one's choice.
