Assault charge filed in Pa. after man struck by vehicle

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Pennsylvania State Police said they have charged a Guilford Township, Pa., man with using a vehicle to strike another man on Sunday in Franklin County.

Eugene Barlow, 67, of Guilford Township, was charged with aggravated assault, according to a state police news release.

Troopers said  Joel Gorman, 31, was struck by a vehicle in the 8700 block of Peiper Road in Southampton Township at 8:56 p.m. Sunday.

Barlow was taken to the Franklin County Jail, according to the release.
