David Paul Beck, 50, of Hagerstown, Md., passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012, at his home.

He was born March 6, 1962, in Baltimore, Md., to the late Charles Clement Jr. and Elinor Constance Flint Beck.

He was a 1979 graduate of South Hagerstown High School, Hagerstown.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was employed by Oops Outlet, Hagerstown, and previously was employed by Turner Enterprises at Longmeadow Bowl, where he was dearly loved by all the customers and employees.

He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include: his daughter, Jamie M. Morgan and her husband, David, of Hedgesville, W.Va.; brother, Charles C. Beck III and his wife, Sue, of Plattsburg, N.Y.; brother, John F. Beck and his wife, Teresa, of Hagerstown; aunt, Audrey Phitts of Baltimore; and grandchildren, McKenzi, Blake, Ava, and Skilee.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md., Friday, Jan. 4, 2013, at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Ernest E. Witmer officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Military services will be provided by AMVETS Post 10 and the Marine Corps League of Hagerstown. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

The family requests the omission of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to help offset funeral expenses in care of Jamie M. Morgan, 234 Amelia Drive, Hedgesville, WV 25427.
